A reason to celebrate: 25 years maiz! maiz—Autonomous Center for and by Migrant Women* exists and resists further. In the framework of the closing event of WIENWOCHE 2019 which will be hosted together with maiz, we invite artists and audience alike to throw a performative glance at postmigrational discourses. We want to exchange, collect conspirative ideas and live solidarity. Because on the following Sunday, we’ll have elections in Austria. And also in 2019 voting isn’t a right for all, but still a privilege. So there is plenty to do. BITCHES & WITCHES unite!
